This project focuses on selected film sequences and individual frames in which a simple mistake in exposure transforms daylight into an unexpected night scene. This shift overturns the narrative of the actions, while the backlighting erases every trace of identity, leaving only silhouettes and gestures suspended between intimacy and anonymity.

The films shot by Eva Braun between 1938 and 1940 often show quiet scenes on the shores of lakes and natural landscapes whose atmosphere—still untouched by the war—could be enjoyed effortlessly, seemingly unaware of the turmoil unfolding across Europe.
