On Your Behalf is a site-responsive installation composed of fresh flowers applied directly to the wall.
Subject to immediate decay, the work resists fixity, unfolding instead as a temporal structure in continuous transformation. The material does not illustrate impermanence but actively produces it. The installation functions as a stand-in for deferred or absent gestures—words unsaid, presences that arrive too late or disappear prematurely. In this way, it stages a condition in which connection is always partial and unstable. As the flowers wilt, detach, and collapse, the work exposes the fragility of memory and the impossibility of preserving presence.
The work is part of Asynchronous, an ongoing project that reconfigures materials and experiences across time and media.
